Sarmad Ahmad Ghani

Sarmad Ahmad Ghani, a seasoned Advocate of the High Court with over 18 years of legal expertise, specializes in banking law, corporate law, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR). Enrolled as an advocate in 2006 and elevated to High Court status in 2008, he is highly regarded for his focus on conflict resolution.

An alumnus of the University of Lahore, where he pursued his L.L.M. with a specialization in ADR, Sarmad has contributed significantly to academic research and public discourse. His notable works include the research paper “Traditional Mediation Alongside Modern Mediation Techniques: Effective in Permanent Conflict Resolution” and the article “Violence Against Women in Pakistan: A Study of the Management Perspective of Gender Violence.”

Sarmad has been invited as a keynote speaker at international forums, including the Dispute Resolution/Mediation Conference at Western Sydney University, Australia, where he presented on integrating indigenous conflict resolution practices into modern mediation frameworks. Recognized as an appointed Arbitrator by the Court of Pakistan, he has overseen major disputes involving corporations like Nestle Pakistan.

His leadership extends to serving as Secretary of the Library at the Lahore Bar Association (2010-2011). Sarmad’s commitment to the legal profession and societal impact continues to shape his distinguished career.
